--Shaun Suisham has had a fine first two years with the Redskins, but the kicker couldn't pound a 46-yarder through a "pretty stiff" wind in the third quarter. The miss dropped Suisham to 19-for-25 this year and 56-for-69 during his Washington career.
--It doesn't sound like Clinton Portis will be touch-and-go for Seattle as he was for Dallas because of a sprained left knee. Portis was a surprise starter against the Cowboys after sitting out all four practices last week, but coach Jim Zorn said that the NFL's No. 2 rusher with 1,063 yards is "better than he was coming into last week."
