--Washington hasn't turned the ball over on offense yet. The Redskins' only turnover was a fumbled punt return by Antwaan Randle El. QB Jason Campbell has a streak of 146 passes without an interception (124 this year), second longest in team history. Include Todd Collins' 105 passes without a pick when he filled in for the injured Campbell last December and Redskins quarterbacks have thrown 251 consecutive passes without an interception during their last nine regular-season games.
"Nobody is talking about it because we focus on it enough in practice," Campbell said. "I just play the game and if something's there, I try and take it, and if not, I don't force the issue."
--After victories by his "Over The Hill Gang," late Redskins Hall of Fame coach George Allen would lead his veteran-laden team in "Three Cheers for the Redskins."
One of those victories in 1976 came against the Seattle Seahawks and their first-year quarterback Jim Zorn. Thirty-two years later, Zorn has Allen's job and renewed that post-game tradition following last Sunday's upset of the mighty Cowboys.
Zorn led the Redskins in a "hip, hip, hooray" cheer in Dallas, but he was imitating former Seahawks coach Chuck Knox, not Allen.
"(When Knox first did it), I thought, 'You know, this is very old school. I mean, hip-hip-hooray? C'mon," Zorn said. "But it kind of fired me up. And (then) I thought ... 'What's wrong with old school?' I just enjoyed the enthusiasm that Chuck Knox had when he led that cheer. I sort of just carried the banner, if you will."
Zorn carried that banner when Seattle beat Carolina in the 2005 NFC Championship Game and followed suit in Texas Stadium.
"It's kind of a special cheer for special games," Zorn said.
BY THE NUMBERS: 9 -- Consecutive years that the Redskins and/or Eagles have made the playoffs.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "You understand what you did last week and where you have to get better, but you have to forget about that game and focus on Philadelphia. This is an opportunity to keep climbing to become the best defense we can possibly be." -- Redskins MLB London Fletcher on not taking too much from upsetting the previously unbeaten Cowboys, who had the league's No. 1 offense before losing to Washington.
